Terms of Service: Soriano Repair Group
By commissioning services from Soriano Repair Group ("the Company"), you ("the Customer") agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Data Loss & Customer Responsibility
Data Protection: The Customer is solely responsible for backing up all software, data, and files prior to the commencement of any repair.
No Liability: Soriano Repair Group shall not be held liable for any loss, corruption, or breach of data, software, or media stored on the device while in our possession or during the repair process.
2. Liability & Pre-existing Conditions
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the Customer for the specific service provided.
Hidden Damage: The Company is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions (e.g., liquid damage, corrosion, or structural weaknesses) that manifest during the attempt to repair the device.
3. Service Estimates & Payment
Diagnostic Fees: A non-refundable diagnostic fee may be charged regardless of whether the Customer proceeds with the repair.
Estimates: Any price provided is an estimate. If additional parts or labor are required, the Company will seek Customer approval before proceeding.
Payment: Full payment is due upon completion of services. Hardware will not be released until the balance is paid in full.
4. Abandoned Property
Storage & Disposal: Devices not picked up or paid for within 60 days after notification of completion will be considered abandoned. Soriano Repair Group reserves the right to sell, recycle, or dispose of abandoned property to recover service and storage costs.
5. Privacy & Legal Compliance
Access: The Customer grants permission to access the device and its operating system for the purpose of repair and testing.
Illegal Content: In accordance with federal and state law, if illegal material (such as child exploitation material) is discovered during the course of a repair, the Company is legally required to report the discovery and surrender the device to law enforcement.
6. Right to Refuse
Soriano Repair Group reserves the right to refuse service for any reason, including but not limited to hazardous equipment, unlicensed software, or unreasonable customer conduct.
Acceptance: By commissioning services from Soriano Repair Group, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
